Friendship Park Day Sunday

Friendship Park Day will be held on Sunday, Oct. 19, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Friendship Park on Main Street in Keansburg. In case of inclement weather, it will be held indoors at Bolger School. Events and activities include pumpkin painting, spooky stories, magic by Mike, Halloween dancers, games and prizes, and a showing of the movie, "Monster's Inc." There will also be three costume contests. The first costume contest will be at 2:30 for infants to three year olds. The second will be at 2:40 for childrens ages four to seven, and the third will be at 2:50 for children ages eight to ten.
