Baltimore Ravens defensive coordinator Rex Ryan is being reported to be the front runner as the next head coach for the New York Jets, replacing former Jets head coach Eric Mangini. Mangini accepted the head coaching job for the Cleveland Browns shortly after being fired by the Jets.
Ryan is the son of former NFL defensive coaching stand out Buddy Allen.
