Greater Media's Erin O. Stattel wrote a story about Matawan's former borough attorney, Pasquale Menna, and his dissatisfaction about being canned. Last time I checked, appointees to political bodies serve at the discretion of those bodies. Mr. Menna is calling foul because he believes his dismissal was political. In fact, his appointment was political also. In fact, the whole darn process is political -- that's why such positions are termed "political appointees."
