East Orange Mayor Robert Bowser is saber rattling about the budget and the aid that is denied to cities and towns. There has to be a point of 'give.' In every city, town, county and part of the state, the idea of government operating at a level where it just does what government is supposed to, without frills and patronage jobs, will inevitably help correct the tax load.
These mayors who are barking about their aid being cut should revisit the relatives of politicians they have on the payroll, and just how much they are paying out on contracts to supporters, before they start their argument.
