David Paterson becomes NY state governor

Congratulations to David Paterson, the former lieutenant governor who will soon be the new governor of New York. He got thrown this job because of the bad conduct of his predecessor, Mr. Spitzer. Nevertheless, some of the best things in government started out like that. Whatever happens, according to what has been printed about Gov. Paterson thus far, there is likely to be a lot less drama surrounding the Paterson administration.
