Aitken, Kenny run for school board

Kenneth Aitken is an engineer who works at AT&T. He is running for the Aberdeen seat on the Aberdeen-Matawan Board of Education this year, along with Charles Kenny, who is an attorney running un-opposed for a seat on the same board. Mr. Aitken is running independently from Mr. Kenny, though both will be featured in the April 10th edition of the newspaper.

"Although we are not running together, we have a common vision about what needs to happen on the school board," said Mr. Kenny about Mr. Aitken. Mr. Aitken agreed and said that consensus in several key areas will make a positive and lasting impact for the children of the school district and the community.
